My work is meditative in practice, a trance with a clear rhythm. In my large format relief prints, I explore themes of security through use of soft natural materials such as wood and muslin. By using meditative repetitive techniques such as carving, I am able to invoke sentiment and share secrets with the viewer. I am hoping to explore more processes that provide me with a rhythm and refine how it either connects to or mimics the body.
